When working on Heritage and buildings of historic interest, special care must be taken to ensure that the exposed property and occupants are protected as much as possible. In addition to this, as many of these sites are open to the public so any restoration work must remain aesthetically pleasing and as far as is possible, not detract from the natural beauty of the surroundings.
